Technical Data
The semi-automatic Philips HeartStart FR3 defibrillator has been designed for quick response in the event of an emergency. Suitable for use by professional medical responders and paramedics, the HeartStart FR3 defibrillator is available with either a standard text display showing incident data, prompts and graphics, or can be purchased with ECG display so that critical patient information is readily available to the rescuer. The intelligent HeartStart FR3 analyses the patient's heart rhythm and advises whether to administer a shock or first perform CPR before delivering a shock.

- 8 year manufacturers warranty on the defibrillator unit
- 3 year battery stand-by life
- 2 year electrode pad life (from date of manufacture)
- Daily, weekly and monthly self tests performed by the unit
- Designed for use by professional medical responders and paramedics
- Automatically switches on when the rigid case is opened (rigid case sold separately)
- Features pre-connected adult defibrillator pads that can be stored out of the foil pouch
- Provides voice and text prompts to provide a step-by-step procedure
- Advises if a shock is to be administered or to perform CPR followed by a shock
- CPR monitoring technology provides guidance on how to improve the quality of treatment
- Available with standard text display or with ECG display to show basic heart rhythm
- Features a high resolution, clear LCD screen
- Carries out an automatic test when the battery is fitted: ensures the device and connected accessories are ready
- Delivers a shock in 8 seconds
- Stores summary data of the defibrillator's last use
- On-site AED Training Courses are available to purchase separately
