Suitable for up to 12 delegates per course, the on-site first aid courses from First Response Training are ideal for workplaces and other organisations where multiple staff members need to take part in the same first aid training. On-site first aid training takes place at your own premises and is carried out by a qualified first aid trainer. First Response Training offer two full first aid courses with different levels of training and duration.

Course Duration and Assessment
The First Aid at Work course is carried out over a 3 day period. Trainees are assessed by continuous observation by the qualified first aid trainer. Successful candidates will receive a First Response Training certificate (valid for 3 years).

The First Response Training First Aid at Work course helps those who need to become a qualified workplace first aider. The course includes the following learning objectives and provides candidates with knowledge and expertise of the topics below.
- Describe your actions in an emergency
- Demonstrate adult resuscitation
- Explain the management of adult choking
- Demonstrate the management of the unconscious casualty
- Describe how to recognise and treat bleeding and shock
- Explain the treatment of minor and major injuries
- Know how to deal with heart attacks and stroke
- Describe treatment of injuries to bones, muscles and joints
- Describe treatment of suspected spinal injuries
Course Duration and Assessment
The Emergency First Aid at Work course is carried out over a 1 day period. Trainees are assessed by continuous observation by the qualified first aid trainer. Successful candidates will receive a First Response Training certificate (valid for 3 years).

The First Response Training Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for those who are identified as the "appointed person" for first aid in a smaller, low risk environment or workplace. The course includes the following learning objectives and provides candidates with knowledge and expertise of the topics below.
