Brayden CPR Manikins - Basic & Advanced

The Brayden CPR Manikins are ideal for practical CPR training, with anatomically correct landmarks to assist in correct hand placement and depth require for effective chest compressions. Realistic oral and nasal passages allow learners to practice proper airway opening and realistic nose pinch techniques for rescue breaths.

The Brayden Advanced model has internal LED lights that are visible through the ‘skin’ of the manikin, allowing them to be seen clearly even in a well-lit room. These LED indicators show the trainee what happens to the flow of blood to the brain during CPR, based on the speed and depth of the compressions being administered. The lighting function will only illuminate fully when both compression depth, and speed are effective.

Advanced model:

• The three-step indicator lights give visual feedback of CPR performance:
  • Chest compression indicating lights: The lights will illuminate to show the blood being circulated by the chest compressions, these will only fully light when the depth of compressions is over 5cm
  • Blood circulating indicating lights: Showing the flow of blood from the heart to the brain, full illumination is shown when the CPR rate is over 100 compressions per minute
  • CPR quality illuminating lights: Representing that blood is reaching the brain. These will only fully light when both the depth and speed of compressions are correct
• Partial illuminations will show when the rate and/or depth of CPR are ineffective, ideal as a training aid to show the difference between effective and ineffective CPR
