Left Atrium

The left upper chamber of the heart. The left atrium is supplied with oxygenated blood from the pulmonary veins.

Left Ventricle

The left lower chamber of the heart, the left ventricle is supplied with oxygenated blood pumped through from the left atrium. The aortic valve then pumps the blood from the left ventricle through to the aorta.
